MEET AMBER

Bringing over a decade of aesthetic experience to Van Michael Aesthetics, Amber is an expertly trained Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner who has been performing cosmetic injections since 2015. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and refined aesthetic eye, she specializes in natural-looking injectables, skin rejuvenation, and non-surgical facial enhancement.

Her approach is rooted in balance, proportion, and individualized treatment. Amber has a particular passion for advanced lip enhancement, creating beautifully shaped, proportionate lips that complement each patient’s unique features rather than overpowering them. Her goal is never to make someone look “done,” but to help them look refreshed, balanced, and confident while still looking like themselves.

Amber earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. Since beginning her career in aesthetics, she has pursued extensive education beyond traditional nursing and graduate training through hands-on private instruction, advanced aesthetic conferences, and intensive facial anatomy education. Her advanced training includes instruction with renowned injectors and educators Dr. Arthur Swift and Dr. Zack Ally, as well as cadaver and facial anatomy training with internationally recognized anatomists Dr. Sebastian Cotofana and Dr. Chris Surek.

With a patient-first philosophy, Amber takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, anatomy, facial proportions, and aesthetic preferences before developing a personalized treatment plan. Rather than treating isolated features or following trends, she evaluates the face as a whole, considering balance, movement, structure, and the natural changes that occur with aging.

She believes the best aesthetic results are thoughtful, subtle, and intentional—and that knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing what to enhance.
